Abstract

The ethics and attitudes (akhlaq) problems occurred are difficult to contain but can be lessen. This polemic should be given a serious attention and resolutions so it will not be a thorn in a flesh of Malaysian Education system. Thus, this article is to look into the perception ofethics and attitudes (akhlaq) problems among the Engineering skill students in Malaysian Skills Centre. This study was carried out because these students are the future pioneer as well as assets to the country’s future; hence a mechanism is needed to prevent the breakdown of ethics and attitudes (akhlaq) of these future pioneers. This research’s methodology used a quantitative approach and in the form of survey. The instrument used is sets of questionnaires. The data collected from the questionnaire forms is analysed using the SPSS 22.0 software and the result is explained using the descriptive statistic method. The value of Alpha Cronbach reliability for the whole questionnaire items is 0.716. This research involved 410 students of Malaysian Skills Centre. All in all, the finding showed that 72.9% admits commit with ethical and attitudes (akhlaq) wrongdoing at least once while the rests admit never commit unethical and attitudes (akhlaq) problems. The dominants item in this research is surfing the social media while lecture (Facebook, Whatsapp and etc).
