Abstract
This article provides an analysis of the content of the journal article in arts activities in early childhood education as published in Science Direct Journals from 2010 to 2016. Content analysis was conducted for a more detailed viewon the topic of research, research methodology, sample size and location of the study, and the findings. The findings of content analysis of journal articles found that the activity of art in early childhood education had a major impact on child development in cognitive, language, socioemotional and physical. The findings also show that artistic activity in early childhood education enhanced the creativity and imagination of children. In addition, the results from content analysis of artistic activity in early childhood education also give educators and researchers clues on how to apply the arts in teaching.
