Physical And Spiritual Miracles Of Muslims’ Ablution

Abstract
Ablution is a form of worship that has been obligated by Allah (s.w.). It has many advantages related to physical and spiritual aspects of Humans. The obligation for performing ablution was clearly and distinctly mentioned only once in the Qur’an. In spite of that, the word wudu’ (ablution) itself was not stated to describe this act of ibadah. Instead, the word “cleansing” was used to describe this ibadah which emphasizes the importance of the reason for performing this act. The study used printed, electronic and authoritative websites as reference materials to collect data and then analyze it. Debate on miracles of ablution highlights two main aspects found in all human being physical and spiritual aspects. Ablution helps to write off small sins, teaches good attitude, raises the status of a muslim in the sight of Allah and forms positive aura in human body. Similarly, the effect of ablution on human health and personal hygiene is a scientific discovery that can strengthen the faith of Muslims towards the wisdom of every obligation and rule in Islam. Performing ablution in the correct way should be able to prevent Muslims from various chronic diseases. Thus, introducing miraculous aspects of ablution encourages those interested in this field to use ablution as a healing therapy to avoid and cure many diseases.
