Specific Maqasid in the Holy Qur’an: A Study for Maqasid of relations in the Light of Surah Al-Mumtahina

Abstract
This article aims to expose "uslub al-Quran" (al-Quran methodology) on revealing the maqasid contains in surah al-Mumtahinah. Thus, it is also focused on "al-maqasid al-khassah" by explaining the uslub (methodology) in human interactions as shown in that surah. This research was based on data analysis to dig out important "maqasid" as mentioned in the holy Quran. The result from this disscussion shows that the maqasid in al-Quran comes in variable uslub such as nass explaination based on reasons (illah) and nass also comes with many definitions and different discussion. This surah also contains both general and specific maqasid. Furthermore, the general maqasid contains the liberation of mu'min (believer) from threatening kuffar and the specific maqasid was used to determine the law of human social interactions. The human interactions (social interaction) basicly stands on love and tolerance that in line with justice concept exists in Islam. This maqasid of social (human) interaction in Islam also divided into two parts; First: Islam liberation from enemies (kafir al harbi) by practical, words and intentions. Second: the practical of ihsan and kindness to whose are not enemy whether near or far that builds on tolerance, harmony and justice as the main basis in social relationship. Moreover, the family relationship also associated with the maqasid of ''imtihan'' that named after this surah.
