This research sheds light on the intellectual and scholarly contributions of a venerable Imam and profound scholar, Imam Ibn al-Mulaqqin (may God Almighty have mercy upon him), as well as the impact of these efforts on Islamic civilization. The core problem of this research crystallizes in the fact that studies and research concerning this Imam, despite their abundance, are scattered across general biographies or partial studies. They fail to present a comprehensive, synthetic picture of his encyclopedic efforts and how they transformed into a valuable civilizational and intellectual tributary, particularly given that his massive library suffered a devastating fire that led to the loss of some of his works and drafts. Therefore, this research aims to uncover these efforts and examine them analytically, descriptively, and evaluatively, in order to highlight their civilizational impact on scientific research methodologies and the continuity of the intellectual and scholarly movement. The significance of the research lies in moving beyond a mere bibliographic enumeration of the Imam's works to analyze his profound impact as a "mobile academic institution." He contributed significantly to preserving the heritage of this Ummah (nation) and shaping a generation of scholars who led the Islamic intellectual and civilizational renaissance for many centuries. To achieve this, the research methodology relied on integrating the historical-descriptive approach—used to present the Imam's biography and scholarly journey—and the analytical approach—employed to deduce the characteristics of his precise methodology through selected texts from his major books. The research yielded prominent results, most notably that Imam Ibn al-Mulaqqin represented a pivotal scholarly figure and a central node in the network of scholars during the eighth and ninth Hijri centuries. It also demonstrated that his prolific output was coupled with an integrative methodological depth that brilliantly and masterfully combined transmission (Riwayah) and critical comprehension (Dirayah). This confirms his exceptional civilizational role in preserving lost scholarly heritage through his accurate and faithful transcriptions, thereby establishing a comprehensive intellectual and scholarly project that left a profound and lasting impact on the fabric of Islamic civilization.
